Rich countries have already booked millions of doses of corona vaccine, know how long will every person get the dose? – Pledge Times

The corona virus epidemic that spread from China to other countries of the world is about to begin a year. At the end of last year, the first case of corona virus was reported in China. Millions of people have died within this one year, while several crores have been infected. At the same time, many countries are making vaccines to control corona disease. According to experts, the corona vaccine may be available early next year, but it may take up to four years for the vaccine to reach every person in the world. The reason behind this is that many rich countries have already booked crores of doses of vaccine. In such a situation, very few doses will be saved for the people of many poor countries.
Talking about the advance corona vaccine booking, India has booked a dose of 1.9 billion vaccine. However, if a person needs at least two doses of the vaccine, then there will be a shortage of around 70 crore doses. Talking about the country with the highest dose booked per person, it is Canada. Canada has already booked about 36 crore doses for its 38 million people. In this way, there will be nine doses for every person living in Canada. At the same time, the Government of Canada is planning to book a dose of 56 million vaccines. In this way, more than 10 doses of vaccine will come in each person’s part.
The US has already booked vaccine doses for all people. The US has so far booked 1.1 billion doses. An American’s share of the population will yield three doses. Countries like Britain and Australia are also far ahead in booking vaccine doses for their people. Both countries have booked at least five doses for their one person.

Low-middle income countries may be delayed in getting doses of corona vaccine because many rich countries of the world have already booked Corona vaccine supplements. These countries will rely solely on the Kovid-19 Vaccine Global Access Facility (Kovacs) for vaccination of their people. However, Kovacs will also be in a position to provide the Corona vaccine to only 20 percent of the population of these countries.
‘Corona vaccine will be available to all by 2024’
Recently, Adar Poonawalla, CEO of Serum Institute of India, said that by the year 2024, only one person can be vaccinated with the corona vaccine. Poonawalla told the Financial Times that it will take at least four-five years to get the Corona virus vaccine for everyone on earth. It will take two years to see how much the infection has actually decreased. After talking to the government, Poonawala said he was confident that the vaccine would initially be given to frontline workers and at-risk people. Vaccination of all will be a challenge in a country with 130 crore population.
