Call of duty: modern Warfare

When an OP weapon emerges, so it shall be nerfed. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone dropped a new update today, and the headline addition has got to be a nerf for the relatively dominant Bruen Mk9. Its getting a reduction in its effective damage range, and well see whether or not thats enough to keep it powerful but maybe not too powerful.
Thats the big news, but some other weapons got tweaks as well. Its a relatively light series of patch notes here, so Ill just go ahead and post them below, but you can read the originals at Activision.
GENERAL FIXES:
- Fix for an issue where explosive rounds on the Rytec AMR could still be equipped in CDL modes
- Fix for an error players could receive when opening the weapon armory
- Fix for an exploit in the Shooting Range trial
WEAPONS:
FAL:
- Increased headshot damage (2 hit at range with 1 headshot)
- Reduced near damage (limbs and lower torso always 3 shot)
Holger-26
- Increased damage range
- Increased ADS speed
Bruen MK9
M91
- Increased near damage
- Increased ADS Speed
Call of Duty: Warzone saw some of the biggest map changes yet with its Season 5 update, opening up the Stadium for exploration and adding in another confounding mystery that rewards players who can crack a simple cypher that requires you to hop around the map to find the missing pieces for. We also got a loot train and the ability to listen to music as we jam around the Warzone, which, oddly enough, Fortnite added at around the same time.
Thats now, but Call of Duty is in a state of transition at the moment. E3s cancellation means weve waited much longer than usual to hear about the next installment, but it still seems to be coming sure as the sun will rise in the East. After a series of teases going back months, it seems like Activision is finally moving towards revealing this thing, with the next step in this extended process coming on Friday.
