In an Instagram video, he said that recovering from the coronavirus, which they contracted from family friends, was "one of the most challenging and difficult things that we have ever had to endure as a family."He said the the family is "on the other end" of the virus and no longer contagious. On July 31, Lena Dunham revealed on Instagram that she was diagnosed with COVID-19 in mid-March.
