MANILA (Reuters) – The Philippine health ministry reported 1,530 new coronavirus infections and 41 COVID-19 deaths on Sunday.
In a bulletin, it said confirmed cases in the Southeast Asian country had increased to 407,838 while the death toll had climbed to 7,832.
Recoveries in the Philippines, which has the second highest number of COVID-19 cases and deaths in the region after Indonesia, had reached 374,329, the ministry said.read more
