Coronavirus Northern Ireland: Full breakdown shows 69 new positive cases in past 24 hours – Belfast Live

The Department of Health has reported one further Coronavirus related death in Northern Ireland.
Figures released today, Thursday August 27, also show 69 more people have tested positive for Covid-19 since yesterday.
This brings the number of positive cases in Northern Ireland to 6,964.
A total of 418 people have been given positive results for Coronavirus in the past seven days.
The Department’s daily dashboard update shows there has been one further death reported, with 560 people having passed away since the start of the pandemic here after testing positive for the virus.
There are currently 15 Covid-19 confirmed patients in hospital across Northern Ireland and one in intensive care.
A total of 1,545 patients have been discharged from hospital after being admitted with the virus.
The Belfast area has seen the largest increase in positive infections in the past seven days, with 101 people contracting the virus.

Belfast has also had the highest number of positive cases since the outbreak began with 1,666.
Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon has seen 817 positive test results followed by Mid and East Antrim with 633.
The death toll recorded by the Department currently stands at 560 and 162 were in the Belfast area.
