Fall entertainment preview guide

In challenging times, the TV we watch, the games we play, and the comics we read allow us to both escape and reflect. Entertainment can seem frivolous, but you know … sometimes its what we need in a difficult moment.
The novel coronavirus pandemic currently affecting the entire world wreaked havoc on the summer release schedule, though the fall looks brighter. New movies like Black Widow, Wonder Woman 1984, Candyman, and Mulan, shifted nearly half a year from their original release dates, could still roll out into theaters where its safe to see movies. Meanwhile, streaming services have become more vital than ever a Netflix movie scheduled for September is almost definitely going to come out in September. Major comic publishers like Marvel and DC also figured out ways to support comic book shops while dipping a toe into bigger digital releases, giving first-run comics a bigger chance of finding an audience than ever before. The world is not normal in any way, and COVID-19 continues to be a challenge for the U.S. and other countries, but the pleasures of pop life havent disappeared either.
