Just got my ER4XR today and I also bought the ER3XR. The ER4XR is much better than the ER3XR in terms of clarity, sound stage. Well worth the extra cost.The unique deep insertion design of these earbuds give you nice isolation without the use of active noise cancellation circuitry. To be honest this is the first time I listened to Etymotic earbuds and I won’t know for sure how they perform on a flight until we’re done with this damn Corona virus but judging from what I can tell from using them around the house they should work well on a plane.
I would say at this sale price the ER4XR is totally worth buying.read more
