Peel police got the call shortly after 8:30 p.m. at a home near Hurontario St. and World Dr., north of Hwy. 401, Const. Akhil Mooken told reporters at the scene.
Upon arrival officers did not locate any victims, he said.
Shortly afterwards, one of the victims contacted police from an area that was away from the incident location.
Two more victims subsequently made their way to nearby hospitals.
Mooken said the two women sustained non-life threatening injuries, while the male was transported to a local trauma centre.
The shooting, Mooken said, took place at a house party with over 100 attendees, who scattered when the shots rang out.
Police found attendees to be less than forthcoming with investigators.
Theyve spoken to approximately eight people, so eight witnesses, so we know theres about 92 people out there that have not yet had the opportunity to speak to investigators, Mooken said.
And were encouraging them to contact investigators.
As as result, witnesses have been less than forthcoming on offering police information on potential suspects.
While police described the scene of the shooting as a house party, the area where police attended is largely industrial, populated by warehouses, commercial units and strip plazas.
Anybody at the party, witnesses to the shooting or may have surveillance or dash cam video that may prove helpful to investigators are ask to call Peel police or Crime Stoppers.
